A flavor I remember from my childhood. We ate this on pancakes, waffles, and dipped our sausage (links or patties) and bacon in it.
I now find this stuff almost too sweet to eat. Whether that comes from switching to real maple syrup in my grownup years or a change in taste, this stuff is like eating straight sugar.
If you need maple syrup then stick with the real thing. I can not recommend this.
